I had the chance to meet Nick Cooper today. Nick is the owner of Coop Deville Surfboards in Atascadero, Ca. He is an awesome shaper and skilled craftsman. He glasses boards for many central coast shapers and gets great results with pigment exploration. The surfboards are well made and I hope to be getting a board from him soon. When you see a cool place it’s most likely because there are cool people managing cool things. Such is the case with Grow Nursery in Cambria, Ca. I stopped by to see what was going on there and was inspired, but not surprised. If you stop in Nick Wilkinson will be there to help with any questions or design ideas for your garden. Nick has a great sense of living design and he is so mellow and easy to chat with. By far it has the best view of any nursery I’ve ever seen and the sprinkler collection is a must see. Enjoy.
